Details of the Convicts of Drunken and drive are recorded according to their Aadhar

The people caught in drunken drive checking during New Year celebrations on December 31 night, face problems in getting a passport, visa or even a job.

On the day, more than 2,000 drunken driving cases were registered.
As per reports, the Special Branch (SB) collects the details of the convicts from Traffic police.
The movements of Anti-social and communal elements are collected and conducts verification of those, who applied for a passport or a government job.
Here, a special software was also developed to update records of repeat violators involved in the offence.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-II) AV Ranganath said that the SB was updating the details of violators with the help of Aadhaar card. These details will be helpful in conducting verification process.
