We see many actresses getting good fame in South cinema and going to North to try their luck in Bollywood. South cinema is the launch pad a Bollywood take off for most heroines .

Some of them succeed and but, some of them fail to get recognised in the North. We list out some of the heroines who failed to make an impact in Bollywood.

Kajal Agaarwal

Kajal had her debut opposite a star hero like Ajay Devgn in Singham. The film was a big hit but her role did not have much meat and everyone’s attention was on Ajay and Rohit shetty. Her next film Special 26 was also a hit but in this too she had a small and a de-glamorized role. Although the 2 films she acted were hits, she failed to get opportunities in Bollywood and returned to South.

Tamanna Bhatia

The first 3 films that she acted in Bollywood like Himmatwala, Humshakals and Entertainment were big disasters. So she naturally did not get any offers and again came back to South cinema. Baahubali which was also released in Hindi was a massive hit in Hindi and Tamanna is expecting to get some offers after Baahubali.

Trisha

She acted only in one movie in Hindi called Katta Meeta. She was paired opposite Akshay Kumar and she expected that Akshay will give her a big break in Bollywood but that turned out to be a failure.

Asin

She had a dream debut in Bollywood opposite Aamir Khan in Ghazini. This film was a block-buster and she was flooded with offers post the film’s success. Though she acted in many hit films after that she failed to impress the viewers and slowly faded away.

Ileana

Ileana too had a dream debut opposite Ranbir in Barfi. Though she got good response for her acting, she was over shadowed by the performances of Ranbir and Priyanka Chopra. The next film she acted was a flop and though she acted in hit films like Main Tera Hero, she is running out of offers in Bollywood.
