Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is very excited about her trip to French Rivera as her film “Sarbjit” is to be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. After the success of his film “Mary Kom’s” Omung desired to take the film “Sarbjit” to Cannes and however he succeded to do so.
This film is based on the story of an Indian farmer by named Sarbjit who unintentionally crossed the border to Pakisthan and subsequently prisioned and finally killed. Aishwarya plays the role of the Sarbjit sister Salbir Kaur who continuously fight for 23 years to secure her brother”s release from Pakisthan. The film is to be released worldwide on 20th May.
