Chinmayi Sripada is an Indian Playback Singer, who is currently in the United States of America for a music tour was robbed while visiting San Francisco. She made a series of Tweets on Twitter that her parked car had been robbed and her belongings got stolen.
She explained that incident in few tweets that her car had been parked when the robbery happened. It took her five minutes to even realise that items she left in the car was missing. Police who were alerted about this theft.
She wrote,” So.. I got robbed. Parked Car got vandalised in the USofA. TIL – leave nothing in the car. I was standing right by the smashed glass and It took me 5 minutes to realise things were missing. The police here in SFO were really kind and told me break ins were common. I hope I get the stuff back.

And Seriously I hope I am done with nonsense. Like really. Over quota. Godplease go play with someone else. Thankfully a neighbour scared the theif from stealing more stuff and a red haired girl is caught on camera. Good people still walk the earth.
Chinmayi is not the first Indian Singer, to become a victim of theft in the U.S this year. In April, SP Balasubrahmanyam’s passport and other items were stolen. He too took it to social media to relay the information and even informed them that the Indian Embassy had been quick to replace his stolen documents.
