Srimanthudu is the movie that is trending all over South from the past one week. The amazing promotions’ managed to build a massive hype around this movie.
Being a Mahesh movie, everyone is expecting that this movie will work wonders at the box-office. The trailers, songs and especially the dialogues have been well received by the audience.
But are Srimanthudu and Balakrishna’s old movie Janmabhoomi of 1984 vintage the same. They both have similar story lines. In that movie hero is a rich kid and once he meets heroine Sumalatha and realizes the greatness of villages through her, he goes to a village and try to develop it by cleansing up the village of all its ills and evils.
Now that adopting a village is a trend and even Prime Minister Modiji asked the celebrities to adopt a village, Koratala Shiva thought that doing this kind of a movie with a star like Mahesh will work.
