James Bond, Sir Rodger Moore (89)dies of Cancer

Hollywood veteran actor Sir Roger Moore (89), who is best known as James bond, died after a short battle with cancer. The veteran actor died in Switzerland.

 He played the famous Spy roles in Seven Bond films including Live and Let Die and A View to a kill. Sir Roger’s family confirmed by posting on Twitter, ‘he had died after a short but brave battle with cancer.’His children stated,”Thank you Pops for being you and being so very special to so many people.With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. We are all devastated,” they said.

The veteran actor born in Stockwell, London on 14 October 1927, he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). Moore took over the role of Bond from Sean Connery in 1972, and made his first appearance as 007 in Live and Let Die (1973). He portrayed the spy in six films.
“The love with which he was surrounded in his final days was so great it cannot be quantified in words alone,” stated by Deborah, Geoffrey and Christian.
