Anushka, who is one of the very few heroines in recent times to sustain her career for more than 10 years is recently facing the heat from other heroines. Every film she is acting has two or more heroines.
Her last films like Lingaa, Yennai Arindhaal, Mirchi etc were all two heroine flicks. Even in Baahubali, Anushka had to share screen with Tamanna. Rudramadevi, in which Anushka played the title role also consists Catherine and Nithya Menon. Tamil Hero Suriya’s hit series Singham 1 and 2 had Anushka as the main heroine. In the first part Anushka played solo heroine, while in the second part Hansika played the second lead and now the makers are planning to make the third part in which Anushka is roped in and Shruti Hassan is planned as the second heroine.
On the whole Anushka is being followed by other heroines.
