We have some time prior detailed that a Tamil writter named Rajasekhar had moved the High Court asserting that Superstar Rajinikanth, director Pa. Ranjith, and Dhanush, the producer of “Kaala”, stole his story and also title to make a film named ‘Kaala’.

In his petition, he asserted that the story of Kaala has been copied from a story that he had described to Rajinikanth a couple of years back. He even vowed to have registered the title, Karikaalan, to make the film with Rajini. He rued that Kaala is being made with little modifications to his script and title.

The court had then asked Dhanush, Rajinikanth and Ranjith to react to the complaint.
