South Indian Super star Rajinikanth had completed his part for 2.0 and is shooting for his other task, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala Karikaalan directed Pa. Ranjith is a gangster drama. After Kabali, the actor-director duo have come together again for this film produced by Thalaivar’s son-in-law Dhanush’s banner, Wunderbar Studios.
The film has already created a buzz after the first poster was released and title has also piqued the interest of fans who have come to follow Pa. Ranjith’s work religiously. The movie shooting is going ahead at a gigantic set of Dharavi slum of Mumbai raised in Chennai. Most of the moviee shoot will occur there.
Based on news reports that said the upcoming film would be based on the life of Haji Masthan, his foster son Sundar Shekar Mishra sent a notice to Rajinikanth a few days ago. Wunderbar Films, however, issued a statement clarifying that the movie is not based on the life of Haji Masthan.
Buzz is that the motion picture shooting is 70% finished up to this point and the producers are intending to discharge the film amid summer the following year. Rajinikanth will wrap up his part totally by October-end. 2.0 is discharging in January 2018 and Kaala discharging for summer will imply that there will be two Rajinikanth films in the gap between the 3-4 months.
It will be a treat for fans in such case. Kaala is being directed by PA Ranjith who conveyed a hopeless flop like Kabali to Rajinikanth. And Super star Rajinikanth is ready to release his 2.0 science fiction film written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of Lyca Productions.
The film serves as a spiritual successor to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran, which features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran and Chitti, alongside Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson. While 2.0 has been confirmed to hit the screens on January 25 next year, Kaala might release this December itself.
