Universal Star is in a spot once more, years after his Vishwaroopam-1 gave him an extreme time. The spin-off Vishwaroopam-2 is because of discharge on August 10, yet Haasan faces inconvenience from a productuon organization: it has prosecuted Haasan over unpaid contribution of Rs 7.75 crore.
The Madras High Court on Friday guided the performing artist cum politician to document his answer by August 6 to the request of recorded by Pyramid Saimira, a film generation organization. The court issued a notice to the performing artist requesting that he answer by August 6, the following date for hearing.
Pyramid Saimira has claimed that Kamal Haasan owed it Rs.7.75 crore. The organization says the levy can’t be recouped from the on-screen character if Vishwaroopam-2 is permitted to discharge.
As per the organization, it had marked a Memorandum of Understanding with Raaj Kamal Films International Kamal Haasan is one of the accomplices – for joint generation of a Tamil motion picture Marmayogi. According to the MoU, Kamal Haasan had consented to assume a lead part in Marmayogi, pen the story, screenplay and dialogues .
It is asserted that Pyramid Saimira paid Kamal Haasan Rs.10.9 crore in two portions. The production organization blamed the on-screen character for redirecting the cash for creating another of his motion picture.
