Iran and India agreed to fight terrorism

India and Iran agreed to combat terrorism and radicalism. The two nations signed twelve agreements including a “milestone” for the development of the strategic Chambahar port. This gives a boost to economic partnership.

India committed to fund five hundred million dollars for the important port in the sourthern coast of Iran. This will serve as an important point of connectivity between India and Iran and also Afganisthan, common wealth of independent state countries and east Europe.

“We have agreed to consult closely and regularly on combating threats of terrorism, radicalism, drug trafficking and cyber crimes. We also agreed to enhance our defence and security institutions on regional and maritine security.”The PM of India stated.
