Pakistan Warned their people about Kidnappings in Afghanistan

Most recently Pakistan has issued a notice to its residents working in Afghanistan or willing to go to the country, with respect to a conceivable kidnapping hazard.

Pakistani nationals in Afghanistan are forewarned to practice outrageous cautiousness as off-late senior experts working in various fields have been kidnapped, revealed Khaama Press, refering to a tourism warning issued by the service of outside issues of Pakistan.

The announcement includes that Pakistanis either considering employments positions or at present working in Afghanistan must contemplate their own security. Pakistanis living in Afghanistan are likewise encouraged to enroll with the Embassy online by means of Embassy’s site, the report said.

This comes in the scenery of a Pakistani engineer being professedly abducted from Afghan’s Nangarhar area and allegedly being recuperated by the Pakistani military.

Malik Faiz Ahmed, a resident of Rawalpindi, was reportedly kidnapped in Afghanistan few months ago, his family has claimed. He was a construction engineer and was residing in Afghanistan since April 2016.

Malik Faiz Ahmad’s son, Farhan Ahmed, has urged the federal and provincial government to help release his elderly father from captivity. He has also filed an application in the Islamabad High Court over the kidnapping of his father.

The kidnappers are demanded a ransom of ten million rupees, and have threatened to kill him if the amount is not paid. No effort has been made by the construction company which employed Malik Faiz to secure his release.

Malik Faiz Ahmad, initially an occupant of Rawalpindi, was kidnapped from Jalalabad-Torkham parkway late in August.
