Akshay Kumar met Prime Minister Modi to discuss about his upcoming project ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’

Akshay Kumar is very happy that he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Tuesday. And Last week, President Pranab Mukherjee honoured him with Best Actor Award for his performance at the National Film Awards 2017 ceremony. It is very delightful thing for him.

During his meeting with PM Modi, Akshay discussed the idea that his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha deals with. Narendra Modi could not stop himself smiling the moment he heard the title, which made Akshay Kumar feel delighted.
Akshay took this to Twitter by sharing a photo of himself with PM Modi and wrote,”Met PM @narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming ‘Toilet-Wk Prem Katha’. His smile at just the title made my day!” in response to which the Prime Minister wrote,” Happy to have met. My best wishes.”

It was earlier said that the film was based on Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The movie delves on the need for toilets for toilets for sanitation in the country, and this message is conveyed via a love story.
In the film, Keshav character by Akshay Kumar and his wife Jaya character by Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in lead roles.
According to a recent announcement, the release of the film has been pushed to 11th August.
