On Friday , Karnataka govt has suspended the permit of online taxi aggregator Ola for a half year in Bengaluru for running its bicycle taxis while having a permit for just four-wheelers, an official articulation said.

The request from the Transport Department, dated March 18, issued to Ola administrator ANI Technologies on Friday, expressed that its permit in Bengaluru was dropped for a half year for infringement of conditions under which consent was conceded. The boycott request was issued for abusing the Karnataka On-Demand Transportation Technology Aggregators Rules, 2016.

The Transport Department had appropriated a few of Ola’s bicycle taxis in the course of the most recent couple of months, the request said. With this request, Ola’s taxis and cars should keep off the streets for a half year.

Naming the request deplorable, Ola said it was assessing all choices to discover an answer with the goal that its driver-accomplices could keep on working in the city. We have been firmly working with the experts on this subject, reacting to inquiries and making proactive portrayals to the service, Ola said.
