Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh head who is now prisoner number 1997, spent his first night by roaming inside the cell till midnight in the wake of being condemned to 20 Years in Jail for the rape case of two Sadhvis in 2002.
In the wake of medical tests, Jail Authorities made the Dera Chief evacuate his ostentatious garments and wear Jail Uniform. As indicated by jail staff, Ram Rahim sobbed consistently, quit eating strong food and declined to address anybody since he was sentenced in the rape case.
He simply continued taking tastes of water and milk once so often. The 50-Year-Old Spiritual Leader has been held up in the approval cell at the Sunaria Jail in Rohtak. Because of security reasons, No other convict will be imparting the cell to him.
Haryana Government had pulled back the Z-Plus Category Security to Ram Rahim Singh after his conviction in the rape case. Meanwhile, Haryana DGP (Jails) K P Singh today said no special treatment was being extended to the Dera head. Four officials are on duty near the Dera head’s barrack to monitor his activities, he said.
No special treatment is being given to him. He is being treated like any other ordinary prisoner. An ordinary prisoner sleeps on the floor and he too is doing the same, the DGP said.
