In the combined state of AP and TS, whoever applied to set up engineering colleges were granted permission without following rules and regulations.
After biferication of AP and TS, the Telangana government appointed special squads to inspect the facilities and eminities in the eng. colleges, to bring them back on the proper track.
The government and JNTU appointed squads to inspect the colleges but the summer vacation has come on their way as a stumblig block. Many of the loopholes were plugged out by the inspection committees. Notices were issued to those colleges which arenot following the regulations. Some of the eng. colleges were shown on the paper only without existence so Mr.KCR the CM of TS was very particular and serious about the state of affairs in some eng. colleges.
