Indian lady kidnapped in Kabul

An Indian lady working for an International NGO was abducted by suspected millitants from outside her office in Kabul on Thursday. Efforts are being made to secure her release.

Mrs.Judith D Souja aged 40 was kidnapped from the Afghan capital’s Taimani area along with two others on Thursday. The lady was scheduled to leave Afganisthan for India in the next week. 

Mrs. Sushma Swaraj the ministry of external affairs described Judith as India’s daughter and added that the government is taking necessary steps to rescue her.
