IPL may leave for abroad next year

The BCCI secretary Mr. Anurag Thakur has stated today that the Indian IPL’s governing council likely to say whether the 2017 edition of the cash rich tourney may be held abroad. The IPL council will be searching for the new venues in India and abroad.

We will also consider the avialability of venues and prevailing conditions. The IPL  played twice abroad in 2009 and 2014 and it was changed to UAE for the first fifteen days. According to Aniruddhin Chaudhary “very soon IPL may be played  outside the country, if this goes on loss to the GDP would not be insignificant”

The IPL has been rocked controversies  and litigations filed by various organisations . The Bombay High Court has directed to shift the IPL matches to some other plave because of water scarcity in Maharastra.
