Miss Jayalalithaa took oath and down 500 hundred liquor shops in TN

After being sworn in as CM of Tamilnadu, Miss Jayalalithaa fulfilled five major promises made during her election campaign. Miss Jayalalithaa announced the closure of 500 Tasmac shops and reduced the working hours of the remaining shops in TN.

She also waived crop loans of the farmers and announced 100 units of free power to consumers. She also increased in allocation of gold for women and also free power to the weavers and reduction in the working hours of Tasmac. The waivng of farmer’s loans upto March 2016 from cooperative banks costs the exchequer Rs.5780 crores. She also signed a file sanctioning 8 grams of gold  to poor women with a minimum qualification of 10th class.
