AAP government of Delhi has another jolt, for the President of India has rejected his assent to a legislation that protects 212 party MLAs that have been appointed parliamentary secretery and face the prospect of disqualification.
This is due to the petetions have been filed because of dual office of profit. The Delhi government has moved the bill which has been forwarded by Lt Governor to the centre which in turn has been sent to the President after consulting the advocates for their opinion on the bill, the President has ultimately rejected the bill.
