The SC of India has stayed the judgement of High Court on the President’s rule in Uttarakhand. Mr. Rawat becomes former C.M. again. High Court’s order quashed President’s rule in the state.
The apex court stay will continue upto 27th April. An undertaking is also taken by the SC from the attorney general that the Central goverment should not revoke the proclamation of the President till the next date of hearing.
The BJP leaders who were depressed by the HC’s judgement yesterday, appeared rejuvenated with the SC’s stay on the President’s rule.
