A petetion has been filed in the SC of India to declare “triple talaq system” under Shariat law. It enables muslim men to divorce their life partners unilaterally.
The petetioner has stated that the “triple talaq” law is invalid and unconstitutional. A muslim woman from Jaipur filed a writ petetion in the Supreme Court challenging the law in force. She has received from her husband through a speed post giving her divorce.
