Vijender knockout Francis Cheka less than three rounds

Indian boxing star Vijender Singh needed less than three rounds to knock out former world champion Francis Cheka in New Delhi on Saturday.  He retain his WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title not less than 12 minutes fight with Francis Cheka.

Vijender dominated the bout from the beginning and didn’t let Cheka a chance to penetrate his defence. Vijender lands a couple of big punches on Cheka in all three rounds. The crowd was on their feet when Vijender threw a heavy punch and followed it up with a little act of his own. The second round following the theme of the first in the opening stages. Vijender gets more contact on the Tanzanian boxer. Vijender has connected very well with Cheka.

The second round all going in favour of the Indian. Solid defensive work by Vijender to hold up his guard as he sees Cheka go for an opening.The third round was completely dominated by Vijender and the fight was stopped as the referee declared it a KNOCKOUT! The win extends Vijender’s unbeaten pro streak to 8. Vijender has thanked the nation. He said that this title is all because of you that I can achieve it and keep it with me.
