Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy review meeting on Skill Development and Employment

AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy reviewed the Skill Development Program on Friday. In a matter of months, officials should prepare a plan changes and additions to the curriculum for skill development in students. CM Jagan said it was the responsibility of the universities to train the students on the knowledge needed to adapt to the changes in technology. Ministers Mekapati Gautam Reddy, Adimukulu Suresh, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and CS LV Subramanyam were among those who attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, For the development of professionalism at the state level, Jagan said that the university would be set up. Under that university, one Skill Development College will be set up in every Parliament segment. He said to set up 25 Colleges for Skill Development. After completing studies, the student should be provided with job facility.

The degree courses including ITI, Polytechnic, B.Com and engineering students should undergo apprenticeship for one year. If it seems there is a necessity then further training should be provided to the students, CM Jagan said. And after the training, test should be conducted, He said. Funds responsibility is allocated to Finance department. CM Jagan said there should be changes in Employment exchange as well.
