Andhra pradesh CM released the Minor Victim’s identity

AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday tweeted by revealing the identity of a minor girl who was abducted by ex-serviceman. He posted a picture of him along with the victim and parents announcing financial aid. He also mentioned her name on his official Twitter.

It is a minimum thing to be known that the identity of the victim should not be revealed. It is in any form of crime and attracts legal action. As the girl is a minor who has been abducted and the case was booked under IPC Section 376(rape), 376 (i) protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO).

On June 7, the victim was rescued by police after 45 days of search, 14 year old girl who was allegedly kidnapped by the 45year old man, worked once for BSF.
The picture was later removed on June 13 after some online reports highlighting that was against POCSO Act to reveal identity of minors.

Before it was deleted, over 90 users have already retweeted the post. And then the same was retweeted by the Chief Minister’s Offical account.
