The long awaited Hyderabad MetroRail (HMR) is to be inaugurated on November 28 bringing into use one of the most advanced public transport system in the country. One of the biggest metro rail projects in public-private participation (PPP) mode, the 72-km long metro rail project commenced in April 2012 at an initial estimated cost of Rs 14,000 crore.
As per the latest estimates, the cost has gone up to over Rs 18,500 crore. The project is being executed by Larsen and Toubro. Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) hasn’t issued the safety clearance for Hyderabad MetroRail’s 30-km extend from Miyapur to Nagole.
Until the point when this clearance wasn’t given . The Phase – 1 of the Hyderabad Metro Rail to be inaugurated will be on the 28-kilometre stretch between Nagole and Miyapur. The road stretch is one of the most congested arterial roads of the burgeoning Hyderabad city.
It seems that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not able to participate in the inauguration of Hyderabad Metro on November 28th, 2017 . Upwards of Five Intelligence Sleuths have come to Hyderabad from New Delhi for the review of Hyderabad Metro Rail route, tracks and stations.
The report presented by them will be pivotal for the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the hyderabad Metro inaugruation . Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has concocted a Plan B to guarantee the initiation occurs according to plan.
Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety had effectively given safety clearance for the 12 km extend amongst Miyapur and SR Nagar. Along these lines, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be made a request to inaugurate Metro Rail at Miyapur Station.
Telangana Government is probably going to defer the commercial operations by seven days considering the postponement in security clearance for the 30-km extend .
