AP CM Chandrababu Appoints Special officers in inquiry of Boat accident

The loss of life of the Krishna River vessel disaster has ascended to 19. Protect operations have been going on and three bodies have been found. Two more bodies are yet to be recuperated. Scuba jumpers and master swimmers are hunting down the rest of the bodies by swimming into profound waters.
Then, Andhra pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu examined the mischance spot and enquired in regards to the save operations that are taking up at Ferry Ghat.
Tourism Minister Akhila Priya who went with the Chief Minister said that the safeguard operations have been going on and stern move will be made against the individuals who are in charge of the disaster once the save operations are finished.
Calling it an appalling episode, she said that the police captured a team part and are following out to seize the administration. Akhila Priya additionally called attention to that the boating doesn’t have any permissions from authorities concerned including that even the Tourism Department authorities cautioned against boat operations .
Chandrababu said that 20 bodies had been recovered so far from the river and search is continuing to trace two more bodies— Sujana and Ashwika. 16 bodies were fished out of the river last night and the recovery of four more bodies this morning; the deceased included nine women and a teenaged boy.
He added that four other victims were undergoing treatment in a private hospital and the condition of one is serious. Observing that the tragedy occurred due to the greed of the private operator and the boat was operated without taking permission of authorities concerned, the Chief Minister expressed his deep regret over the mishap.
He announced Rs 10 lakh as ex-gratia to the families of each deceased. The Chief Minister also stated that a two-member committee comprising an IAS and an IPS officer would inquire into the incident along with suggest safety and precautionary measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
