Ap Cm On eating with Union government to complete Polavaram

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra pradesh chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday met Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur need to complete the the Polavaram water system dam Project as soon as possible.
While the Chandrababu Naidu and Nitin Gadkari exchanged welcome and held chats on different issues, the polavaram venture was the primary subject of talk with the Chief Minister pitching for more help from the Union government to meet the polavaram venture due date.
Addressing the media in such manner, Andhra pradesh chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he informed the Minister on the polavaram venture and has recieved full help from him.
The multi-purpose water system venture has been agreed national project status by the Union Government and the dam crosswise over Godavari River is under development.Stating that Polavaram was the second biggest irrigation project in the country after the Narmada project .
While lauding the Central Government’s cooperation, he opined that Polavaram can be the biggest project. Chief Minister Naidu reminded that he held reviews 53 times, and visited the site 18 times in person.
He also said that 40 gates are ready as of now and icon construction will be started in October. Chief Minsiter Naidu also asked the officials to work hard to finish off the project by 2018.
