AP CM Wrote a letter to Union finance minister on EAP Funds

Andhra pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has composed a letter to Union finance minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday to discharge stores for Externally Aided Projects (EAP) as a major aspect of the exceptional package declared to Andhra Pradesh state .

Helping him to remember the unfulfilled guarantees made in State Reorganization Act, Andhra pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu communicated disappointment over the deferral in freedom of Externally Aided Projects and asked for the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to endorse Rs 16,725 crore subsidizes through NABARD for six Externally Aided Projects .

In the letter, the Andhra pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu proposed that an exceptional agreement sum be given to the state to determined tasks from NABARD rather than advances from outside offices.

Of the six activities, the Andhra Pradesh Roads and Bridges Reconstruction Project, Andhra Pradesh Mandal Connectivity and Rural Connectivity Improvement Project (Rs 3,200 crore each) have been affirmed while the Rs 4,500-crore Andhra Pradesh Rural Water Supply Project is yet to be cleared.

Likewise, another task, Construction of Residential School Buildings has been pending for DEA endorsement and the cost of the venture has gone up o Rs 3,341 crore from Rs 3,000 crore.

Two new tasks — the Amaravati Greening Development costing Rs 1,484-crore and Andhra Pradesh Backward Area Rural Development to the Center for NABARD subsidizing of Rs 1,000-crore have additionally been put together by the state government.
