Actor and Hindhupur MLA Balakrishna recently inaugurated 14 RTC buses for public transport in his constituency. The first time MLA launched the the new RTC bus services grandly.
But the passengers who traveled in these buses have become restless. Their hearts have come to their hands when the buses suddenly broke and stopped all of sudden.
On Saturday, an RTC baring number AP 28 Z 5181 made unnecessary halts several times before broke at at Navodaya Vidyalam at Lepakshi. The bus was carrying 50 times at the time of incident and they had to push the bus for nearly half kilometer.
Out of 14 buses that Balayya inaugurated, four are super luxury buses brought from RTC employees donations, one Pallevelugu and ten buses with modern amenities.
Sources in the RTC department say that these so called ‘new’ services are actually fully worn old buses and repaired and brought back to services.
But unfortunately, Balakrishna who dorve one of the buses for a few kilometers could not find out the condition of the buses. Now, its time for Balayya to wake up and have a look at the bad condition of old buses.
