Cabinet Minister Post aspirants in the ruling Telugu Desam Party, must be waited for some more day. It party president and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has not given any positive signal after his 90-minute meeting with Governor ESL Narashimhan on Vijayawada. After meeting with Governor, media personal asked if he discussed about the possible expansion of the state Council of Ministers, Chandrababu said, “If there is anything, I will let you know first”.
He asserted that there were no disputes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana government and all issues were being sorted out through negotiations. The Chief Minister further said confrontation was good for none and “We are ready to resolve all issues amicably. But there will be no compromise on the state’s interests”. Responded on Telangana government’s request that buildings vacated by the AP government in the Secretariat at Hyderabad be handed over to it, the Chief Minister said they would discuss the issue and take a decision.
