Telangana state Telugu Desam party Working President A Revanth Reddy has apparently met AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. Amid their meet, Rahul offered a key post to Revanth and the last likewise communicated his enthusiasm to join Congress.
Reports says that Revanth went to Delhi on his own work two days prior. Amid his stay, he got a call from Rahul office on Tuesday morning. He promptly hurried to AICC pioneer’s living residence and held secret chats with the AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
Not long after the new Channels began broadcasting the news about Ravanth’s joining, Revanth clarified that he will remain in TDP as it were. In any case, he didn’t preclude his meeting with AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
Revanth has been not satisfied in Telugu Desam party as far back as his senior leaders proposed survey union with TRS in 2019 General elections. He firmly contradicted cruising with the TRS as he fought like there’s no tomorrow against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government.
All India Congress Committee Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe cell chairman Koppula Raju had reportedly conveyed Mr Revanth Reddy’s intention to join the Congress to AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi.
After getting a nod from him, Mr Raju had organised meetings in Delhi with Mr RevanthReddy and senior AICC leaders, Congress sources said. Mr RevanthReddy had earlier gone on record stating he had held consultations with Mr N. Uttam Kumar Reddy about a possible tie-up with Congress for the 2019 elections, which the Congress.
