A Huge Crowd People of a YSR Congress public meeting addressed by the party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy reflects how the crowds are responsive, cheering and noise-making. They shout, hoot, sway to Jagan’s words. While they could also be disturbing, they are often more energetic. Contrast this with the crowds at TDP’s public meetings. While supporters and followers of Telugu Desam Party are more like a silent crowd and often, are less expressive people.

However, this is turning out to be a cause of worry for the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh. While TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu has changed his campaigning style to a more rhetorical model where they crowd needs to be responsive and say a “yes or no,” the crowds are often quiet, mostly waving the party’s flag. But, YSRCP’s meetings where Jagan addresses the crowd still have “Rajanna’s” supporters who makes the necessary noise to reflect their leader’s aspirations and message.

A huge crowd turnout for YSRCP’s meetings is now worrying the Telugu Desam. Apparently, TDP leaders are quite surprised at how the crowd is so self-responsive at Jagan’s meetings compared to Chandrababu’s or Lokesh’s campaigns. They are wondering about the secret to Jagan’s crowd-drawing capability.

However, some of them say that YSRCP pays more while TDP’s pay is not so appealing for voters. While parties are even fighting over drawing crowds, we can only imagine the cut-throat competition between them. Well, crowd or no-crowd, we are yet to see who wins the people of the state despite all their tricks and strategies
