Jogu Ramanna argument over pending issues of Adilabad

Recently Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna instructed several Union Ministers to clear out all the pending proposals of Adilabad particularly and also of State.

The Telangana Government had already submitted a proposal to the Centre to set up a biodiversity repository and museum in Adilabad district of worth Rs 190 crore.
While urging with Centre, MP Nagesh and Special Representative of the State Government to Delhi S Venugopala Chari, accompanied Jogu Ramanna, the Centre to help the State set up a livestock farm in Adilabad and to release Rs 125 crore of its share as the State Government was ready to release Rs 45 crore of its share. He said that Ankush NGO had come forward to donate Rs 45 crore for the project. Since last year, the proposal was pending with the Centre.
Ramanna asked for the Science Centre establishment in Karimnagar town and said that there would be a review meeting about this in Hyderabad.
The Union Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma would be part of this and issue would be finalised at the time.
Ramanna also urged with Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Tawarchand Gehlot to release funds for new BC hostels in the state and for post-metric scholarships. He also sought out the issue of BC castes in the OBC group.
The state had listed 113 castes as BCs but only 87 had been included in the list. The Union Minister assured that the OBC Commission would look into the issue.
Later, The Forest Minister requested Union Tourism Minister Alphons Joseph to declare Kuntala and Pocherla waterfalls in the Adilabad as national projects.
He asked the Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Sector Enterprises Anant Geete to discuss the Ramagundam Fertiliser plant and setting up of CCI in Telangana.
