Shocking news for Telangana people that fire alarm on the helicopter of Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao minutes before it was to take off in Karimnagar locale set the alerts ringing on Tuesday, authorities said.
A smoke was on Tuesday detected in a communication set in the chopper, minutes before Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was to fly in it from Karimnagar district, a police official said.
The incident was reported at around 10.30 am, following which the communication set was removed from the chopper .Smoke was recognized exuding from a pack conveying an interchanges battery unit inside the chopper and ready security work force promptly lifted it up and tossed it out.
The occurrence happened in Karimnagar, minutes before the Chief Minister was to leave for Adilabad district.The Chief minister’s child and Cabinet Minister K.T. Rama Rao said he was safe.
