30 persons were arrested by SHE Teams in Shobha Yatra

As far some days before Telangana Government’s effort to make Hyderabad safe and secure for women, SHE team was launched on October 24, 2014. The team, which consists of women police officers along with male constables and officers, is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring women’s safety at public places.
At the time of Ganesh immersion the SHE teams  are separate places at different times of the day where cases of eve teasing are common. Amid the last day of Ganesh Procession and submersion, SHE Teams of Hyderabad City Police found 30 individuals, including eight minors, for hassling ladies.
While the SHE groups were watching, a few people were following the parade and sprinkling water on the women, who were immersed in the Ganesh sloganeering and Bhakti tunes. Some were tossing water packets. A few people were gotten for tossing paper pieces and flowers on women.
Some were taking mobile selfies with women without their insight. Some were blowing whistles and shouting at the women. Some of them took after and stalked the ladies. Hardly any others were attempting to touch the women improperly in intoxicated condition.
Every one of these exercises were video recorded and they were caught in the act with video prooff. Larger part of them were gotten at the Tank Bund, others were gotten from S R nagar, Charminar, Falaknuma, Mehdipatnam, Chaderghat, Secunderabad and different regions.
They identify stalkers, who are brought to the Police Station and initially given counseling in front of their family members. And after that the Cases were enlisted and they are being submitted in the court. Dozens were injuried for making annoyance amid the Ganesh Shobha yatra.
