Defected TDP MLAs seek merger with TRS

As many as 10 MLAs, who were elected on TDP ticket but later defected to TRS, has sought their merger with the ruling party in Telangana State Legislative Assembly.

In a letter to Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary, the MLAs claimed that they had a meeting on Thursday night in the Assembly premises and decided to merge themselves with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi Legislature Party in Telangana Assembly. They said they had required strength for merger into TRSLP under Para 4 of Tenth Scheduled of the Constitution.

The MLAs who signed the letter are Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, G. Sayanna, T. Prakash Goud, Teegala Krishna Reddy, Machireddy Kishan Reddy, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, K.P. Vivekananda, Challa Dharma Reddy and S. Rajender Reddy.

They appealed to the Speaker to accept their merger into TRSLP with immediate effect.
