The choice takes after the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority’s (HMDA) gesture to designate five sections of land of land towards the establishment of 125 feet Ambedkar statue in the garden premises.
A major remembrance museum would come up in the rest of the 20 acres of garden, which is currently event congregation. The NTR Garden name will be kept to the NTR Samadhi and its premises as it were. The choice to drop the NTR name from the garden is probably going to kick up a debate in the coming days.
