From couple of years the Metro Project is going in Hyderabad and from few days the Telangana Government is thinking to inauguration of Metro Rail . L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (LTMRHL) declared that DVS Raju, Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG), Government of India, for Hyderabad Metro Rail, led the statutory review of Overhead Electric Traction System (OETS) amongst Begumpet and Mettuguda Metro stations and concurred endorse for Energisation of Overhead Electric Traction System.
The traction system is sustained from the 132Kv/25Kv Receiving Substation (RSS) of the Hyderabad Metro Rail at Uppal station. Approaching supply to this RSS is drawn from 220Kv/132Kv primary substation of TRANSCO. DVS Raju in the wake of directing the investigation stated, Energisation of the Overhead Electric Traction System will encourage leading of wavering trial of the Metro trains by Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO), Ministry of Railways, Government of India.
The RDSO group will lead tests in this segment and will issue a declaration on satisfactory tests. From that point LTMRHL will lead trial keeps running on the Metro prepares in this area. The segments from Nagole to Mettuguda and Miyapur to SR Nagar are as of now empowered, subsequent to getting assent of CEIG and trial runs were finished.
It is in fact a matter of pleasure for Hyderabad Metro Rail Project and we are grateful to Mr. DVS Raju, Chief Electrical Inspector (CEIG) for directing the statutory investigation and of Overhead Electric Traction System from Begumpet to Mettuguda.
