Telangana Chief Minister’s sister passes away

Telangana Chief Minister KChandrashaker Rao’s elder sister vimal bai passed away toward the beginning of today. As per her relatives, Vimala Bai had been experiencing age-related diseases for as far back as couple of months.

She was 82. Her memorial service will occur tonight at the cemetery in Alwal of Secunderabad, where she lived.

Vimala Bai died at her residence at Mangapuram colony, Alwal. KCR has eight elder sisters, a younger sister and elder brother. According to information from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Vimala Bai had been ailing for sometime.

On learning about her death chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son IT minister K T Rama Rao rushed to the house. He was participating in the World IT conference when it was informed to him about the death.

The chief minister who is in Gajwel at his farmhouse will also proceed to the house to attend the last rites. KCR’s nephew and irrigation minister T Harish Rao also went to the Vimala Bai’s residence and consoled the other family members. The funeral rites will take place later in the evening.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family are required to go to the burial service. K Chandrashekar Rao has eight senior sisters, one more young sister and one senior brother . Vimala Bai was his second oldest sister .
