Telangana Government planning to Start Steel plant: KTR

Telangna IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Thursday reacted to the inquiries in the Telangana Assembly finished the vast scale employment.
Answering to question raised by a MLA Kanakiah, KTR said that the legislature is endeavoring to set up a Steel Plant and extensive scale emploment will wind up noticeably conceivable if the government builds up a million metric ton limit steel plant.
The Minister pointed out that during the 60-year-old rule in undivided Andhra Pradesh, injustice was done to Telangana in various sectors and even after the State bifurcation, the Centre has failed to do justice to Telangana as per the promises made under AP Reorganisation Act.
Previously, the Central government had established a steel plant in Vizag which does not have any iron ore reserves nearby, but it is now delaying establishment of a steel plant in telangana which has rich iron ore reserves.
Our pleas for steel plant to several Union Ministers also fell on deaf ears,” he expressed his anguish.  Expressing that the plans are on to set up three metric ton limit steel plant, he said that it would give work to 6,000 individuals specifically and another 12,000 people in a indirectly way in tribal regions.
He also said steps have been taken to form an integrated steel plant through SAIL. He also added that tests at Bayyaram has shown lesser quality of Iron ore below the required quantity and Telangana govt has submitted proposals to set up a new railway line to Bayyaram to supply Iron ore.
