Telangana govt to develop teaching hospitals with Rs.207 crore

Telangana government has decided to spend Rs.207 crore for the development of all teaching hospitals in the state. The state currently has a  of 17 teaching hospitals across the State. Of this eleven hospitals are located around Hyderabad city.

The remaining hospitals are located across the state. The health, medical and family welfare minister Dr.C.Lakshma Reddy has directed the officials to prepare plans for the all round development of the teaching hospitals. He said that these hospitals should be developed ad Tertiary care centers in order act as referral hospitals to all primary and medium level hospitals of the state. Expert doctors would be appointed in all the teaching hospitals by the state.
