Telangana opposition parties fired on Maha agreement

Agreements with the state of Maharastra on irrigation projects came down heavily by the political in the Telangana. Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and other Telangana Congress leaders after they staged ‘Black Flag’ demonstration across State accusing KCR of surrendering the interests of the state to Maharashtra with the agreement on irrigation projects.

While TRS leaders called the inter-state irrigation projects across the Godavari River with Maharashtra a historic pact, the Congress leaders led by TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy, took out a rally from Gandhi Bhavan to the Hyderabad collectorate criticizing the agreement saying that KCR mortgaged Telangana before the neighboring state. They also accused the state Government of misleading Telangana people by falsifying the facts in the agreement.
