Supreme Court Shocked Telugu states on Appointing of DGPs in the Telugu States has mixed a discussion since Chief Ministers favored their preferred cops for the best post as opposed to following UPPSP Rules or Supreme Court rules. The Apex Court made it unmistakable state governments can’t disregard the rules while selecting DGP.
SC Bench containing Chief Justice Deepak Mishra, Justice Kanvilkar and Justice DY Chadrandrachud advised arrangement of DGP needs to happen just through UPPSP and State Government can’t act freely in this issue. ‘3 Months before the finish of current DGP, State Government needs to send the rundown of qualified officers to UPPSP.
