World Telugu Conference in Telangana has rescheduled to October

Telangana State Government has reschedule organising the World Telugu Conference to October. The inaugural event will be held on September 30, Dasara day.

As per previous schedule, Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao had announced that the inaugural event would be held on June 2, which is on State Formation day.
Now, the Inagural event deferred on September 30 and Conference will be held from October 22 to 28.However, on Wednesday officials brought this notice to the CM that June 2 falls under Astami and also, the weather wouldn’t be conductive to holding the event as the monsoon may set in by then.

They even told the CM that it requires time to make arrangements to organise the event the grand scale sought by hum and also to invite prominent Telugu personalities from across the globe.K.V. Ramanachary, adviser to the State government and other literary personalities met Mr Rao at Pragati Bhavan on Wednesday and sought postponement of the conference to October.

The Telangana CM approved rescheduling and asked them to organise the conference from October 22 to 28.
