Secretariat complex is scheduled to close today due to its existing state. Ministers are expected to commence full-fledged operations from their new offices located in various parts of Hyderabad city.They will also will be available to people at their respective bungalows in the Ministers Quarters on Road No.12, Banjara Hills.
State Secretariat remained the only location where all the State functionaries are available at one place. With its closure, people who have worked in different departments have to visit different buildings. To avoid inconvenience to people, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to have directed his Ministerial colleagues to remain accessible at their respective offices as well as the Ministers’ Quarters during specific hours of the day.As part of the shifting of offices from the Secretariat, it was decided that even the Chief Minister’s Office will now be relocated to Rasoolpura, Hyderabad Metro Rail building.
“Until the construction of the new integrated Secretariat complex is completed, the Ministers will remain accessible to people at their respective accommodations inside the Ministers’ Quarters,” an official in the General Administration Department (GAD) said.
