YS Jagan Kepts Praja Sankalpa Yatra on hold for AP Bandh

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who was the main opposition leader and YSR Congress party president on Wednesday , communicated solidarity with the Andhra Pradesh bandh call given by the Left parties against injustice dispensed to the state in the Union Budget 2018 .
YSRCP MPs staged a protest for the third consecutive day at the Parliament, on Thursday, demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.
They raised slogans against the AP government and called for the immediate implementation of the terms laid down in the AP Reorganisation Act. YSCP MPs Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, YV Subba Reddy, Varaprasad, Mithun Reddy, YS Avinash Reddy and Vijaysai Reddy participated in the protest.
Speaking on the occasion, the MPs said that their protests will continue till the end of the budget session of the Parliament. They also decried the TDP government’s attempt to thwart the AP bandh by arresting leaders of various political parties.
The YSR Congress party reported help for the bandh call. In such manner, the YSR Congress party president put the Praja Sankalpa Yatra on hold for Thursday. He took part in the bandh at Jolaguntapalli in ASpeta mandal of Atmakur constituency , on Wednesday .
Scores of students and youngsters joined YS Jagan while he held a bulletin that read “special Status Andhra Pradesh’s Right” amid the bandh . Then, all the 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh revealed great reaction from the general population for the bandh call .
