“YSR VAHANA MITRA” scheme to launch on October 4

Chief Minister Jagan – led YSRCP government will launch “YSR VAHANA MITRA” scheme on October 4 on which cash of RS. 10,000 will be given as incentives to those drivers who own autos and cars. Applications can be submitted through online or offline. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has shown special interest in the scheme as he promised to support them on seeing their difficulties.

Qualified applicants are given an opportunity to apply from the range of DTC to MVI office, as well as they could apply at e-seva, mee-seva, CSC, MDO and Municipal Commissioner Office. Even at Grama, Ward volunteers applications can be submitted. Apart from these, the counters are also placed at Tirupati, Vijayawada and Vishaka for applicants to submit their applications.

Government is expecting that scheme money will be helpful to owners for vehicle management and servicing. As promised by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, scheme will provide RS. 10,000 for those who deserve, to apply one must attest the following documents – Aadhar card, white ration card, vehicle registration certificate, driving license, first page of Bank pass book without a loan.Even SC, ST, BC and minorities can submit their caste certificate along with the other certificates to the volunteers of their Grama, ward. Volunteers will verify if the vehicle still belongs to the owner. After which, information is passed on to Grama panchayat secretary, Municipal Commissioner, Bill Collector. From there, the applications are uploaded online. Till now 1,75,218 applications are received at Revenue Office. From which 93,741 applications are already approved.
