AP CM Flags off farmers Tour from Singapore

The Andhra Pradesh government is sending 123 farmers from the Amaravati (capital) region to Singapore to learn best practices in business and entrepreneurship, according to a press release. Chief Minister of AP N Chandrababu Naidu hailed off Singapore tour through the primary batch of Amaravati farmers on Monday.
Talking on the event, Chief minister Chandrababu communicated his joy in such manner and said that the farmers would confront the genuine improvement in Singapore.
The Chief Minister chandrabau additionally imparted his fulfillment to the farmers approaching to give their properties for the state development .
The first batch comprising of 34 farmers assembled at Secretariat and were taken to the International Airport at Shamshabad by transport orchestrated by the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA).
120 farmers were chosen by the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to visit Singapore in three bunches as a piece of the agreement between the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Singapore.
The point of the visit is to enable the farmers to secure the information of best practices in business and enterprise. Rs 40 lakh has been supposedly apportioned by the state government to send farmers to Singapore.
The Andhra pradesh farmers will remain in Singapore for four days and become acquainted with the acts of business in Singapore . The first batch will visit Singapore from October 22 to 26, while the second batch will visit from November 5 to 9.
The third batch will visit from November 19 to 23. In all, 100 farmers will be selected. The objective of the tour is to create awareness on developing their land — residential and commercial.
The CRDA will provide accommodation facility for three nights/4 days and transportation facility. The Chief Minister also approved the housing project for government staff, IAS officers and legislators in the capital region.
The revised cost for the project is 2,652 crore. Three companies — NCC, L&T and Shapoorji Pallonji — will be involved in the project, scheduled to be completed in six months. Separate towers would be constructed for different categories of employees, officials and legislators in the new capital.
