‘I could not control my hands and legs from moving slightly. But for a quadriplegic, hands and legs have to be numb without any movements. The character demanded me to sit in one place and emote. Director Vamsy appointed an assistant director just to check whether I am moving my hands and legs even tiny. Sometimes, my body parts went insensible while re-shooting the scenes again and again. For emotional scenes, I asked the crew to tie my hands and legs so that I cannot move at any cost. It was extremely challenging but I know I have to do it for absolute accuracy,’ Nagarjuna informed.
